Administratrium, The New Element

AMES, IA--The heaviest element known to science was recently discovered by materials researchers at IPRT/ISU. The new element, tentatively named Administratium, has no protons or electrons, and thus has an atomic weight of 0. However, it does have one neuron, 125 assistant neutrons, 75 vice neutrons, and 111 assistant vice neutrons. This gives it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together in a nucleus by a force that involves the continuous exchange of particles called morons.

Since it has no electrons, Administratium is totally inert. However, it can be detected chemically, since it impedes every reaction it comes into contact with. According to its discovers, a tiny amount of Administratium caused on reaction to take over four days to complete; the normal reaction time is less than one second.

Administratium has a normal half life of approximately three years, at which time it does not actually decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which neutrons, vice neutrons, and assistant vice neutrons exchange places. Studies have shown that the atomic mass usually increases after each reorganization.

Research at other laboratories indicates that Administratium occurs naturally in the atmosphere. It tends to concentrate at points, such as governmental agencies, large corporations, and universities. It is always found in the newest, best appointed and best maintained buildings.

Scientists point out that Administratium is known to be toxic at any level of concentration and can easily destroy any productive reactions where it is allowed to accumulate. Attempts are being made to determine how Administratium can be controlled to prevent irreversible damage, but results to date are not promising.

supplementary exam gonna start charging???

Assalamualaikum, Da Jia Hao & Vanakkam,
Maybe, most of MMU citizens dont know this news yet. But let me just inform what I know, as an early preparations to everyone, especially the students. Well, again, group of people including me had been told during the previous "retreat program" by Prof Zaharin, the MMU President. He said this information can be disseminated to the public. But I just open the story today, hehe.
The President said, the Board of Directors (if I not mistaken) had already agreed to impose a charge to those who are taking supplementary examination. When ? Effective immediately. Means, who ever fail in any subject, for this trimester final examination, in general they are going to take supplementary examination for the next trimester. When they take it, means, they must pay. The method of payment, either before or after supplementary im not sure. Most probably, I do think its lump sum together with other fees on the same trimester as the supplementary examination.
How much the students have to pay ? As far as I know, it is 30 % of the fees per subject. For example, if the fee of "Engineering Mathematics 1" is RM 700, then 30 % means the student have to pay additional of RM 210, which will be creditted in their fees, if they take supplementary examination. Of course they can choose not to take it, but yet, they fail and have to retake the subject again. Retake means, pay the full fees again. Im sure that the MMU will make announcement about this soon.
Why does the MMU management decide this move ? If you check in any parts of the world, its quite rare or can be said as no universities other than MMU giving out second chance to the students, even thought they are private universities. Of course, MMU have its own rational. If we trace back the MMU history, no supplementary examination been given to those who fail the final examination when MMU was set up on 1997. Years later, only the system been introduced.
But, to the students, they should plan carefully their studies, so, they wont fail in any subject anymore. Thats the side effect. Students tends to study early & more serious in academic matters. Of course, the other effect is, students must pay more if they fail. Well, planning is important. Better late than never, even now is almost half of the trimester.
I wish all students: all the best in their studies & examinations !
See you later !
